Ralph Algol (ラルフ・アルゴール) is a Second-Class Star Magician who serves in the USNA's Magician Unit "Stars". He holds the rank of Second-Lieutenant.
Appearance and Personality[]
Ralph has short red hair and fair complexion.
Ralph loves to fight and lets out a maniacal laughter when in battle especially against an opponent who can fight on par with him. During the Meteorite Fall mission, he has no qualms on killing if there is no specific order not to do so otherwise to which Benjamin Canopus would intervene and remind him that the killing will only be authorized by him or Angelina Kudou Shields. Background[]
Ralph is already on New Mexico by the time Lina arrives to brief him along with Canopus and Ralph Hardy Mirfak on the mission to destroy a research laboratory in Minamitateshima, Japan along with the records of the Strategic-Class Magic Meteorite Fall where Ralph and Canopus is assigned to infiltrate the laboratory. When Lina confirms that no order were given on keeping the scientists alive, Canopus reminds Ralph that the killing will be decided by him and Lina. [1]
During the Stars Rebellion, Ralph defeats Second-Lieutenant Leila Deneb of the fourth unit in a one on one fight.[2]

Ralph specializes in close quarter combat and with the Thrust Suit, he uses acceleration magic making his movements unpredictable and easily able to land a hit with his combat knife. [1]

Ralph's main weapon is a combat knife that has a double edge blade and jagged back in close quarters combat that he uses in conjunction with acceleration magic. [1]

Mobile Suit issued to Stars where the defense it provides allows Ralph to survive being hit by Juumonji Katsuto's Phalanx despite crashing to a wall which leaves a silhouette of his Thrust Suit in it but still able to attack after wards. [1]
