Niflheim (ニブルヘイム) is a Wide-Area Deceleration Oscillation Type Magic and is considered as a Rank A Freezing Magic. This technique ignores heat and appearance, using magic to uniformly cool down all the objects within a set area. As a result, a large mass of cold air which contains a fog of liquid nitrogen, diamond dust, and dry ice particles is formed. [1]
Another example is its an area magic which slowed down the vibration of gas molecules freezing not only water vapor and carbon dioxide, but right down to nitrogen as well. [2]
Niflheim is one of the highest ranked magics, the sequence itself isn’t very complicated but it requires interference strength of a large magnitude or the control becomes much more difficult.[3]
The spell was originally for homogeneously freezing object in area and sometimes you can use it to create wide reaching cold matter including liquid nitrogen, and you can ram it into target as an attack.[4]
