Miguel Diaz (ミゲル・ディアス) is a soldier belonging to the Armed Forces of Brazil. [1] and the twin older brother of Antonio Diaz.

Miguel is proud of being a Strategic-Class Magician and when the Brazilian Government announced that they have punished Miguel for following orders, his relationship with them is at an all time low despite the government's effort to "make him happy" and to ensure he will not defect from Brazil. When Edward Clark presented the opportunity for Miguel to use his Synchronized Linear Fusion in Japan Miguel immediately accepts since he knows that he will be blamed should their plot fail.[2]

Major Miguel Diaz is an officer under the Major General Filho, Chief of Staff of the Western Military Command of the Brazilian Army.[2]
Miguel's face is the most well-known among the Thirteen Apostles, though contrary to this, he is nervous when it comes to keeping information about his family kept secret. [3]
Plot[]
Prologue of Disturbance Arc[]
During the civil war in South America in March 2097, Miguel used Synchronized Linear Fusion against the rebels in order to bring the civil war to an end. His attack killed roughly nine-thousand people and injured more than three-thousand. This attack helped further fuel the anti-magician movement. [4]

- Miguel and Antonio are the fourth pair of twins to appear in the series, the others being Miya and Maya, the sisters Kasumi and Izumi and the twins Ayako and Fumiya.
