The Kthozov is a missile submarine of the New Soviet Union.
Background[]
The Kthozov is the New Soviet Union's latest state of the art missile submarine that can fire missiles in deep depths of the ocean but can also be used in lower depths for increased missile accuracy at the cost of concealment. According to Shiba Tatsuya's analysis; Kthozov's propeller is a non-electromagnetic water jet to avoid magnet detection which is contrary to mainstream modern military fleets using electromagnetic propulsion engines. Kthozov does not have a nuclear engine due to international agreements forbidding such reactors and is not equipped with a device for seawater-oxygen exchange. [1]
During the Miyaki Island Incident, Igor Andreevich Bezobrazov deploys Kthozov near Miyaki Island as part of his strategy to eliminate Shiba Tatsuya by overwhelming him with a barrage of supersonic missiles from the Birobidzhan Missile Base and missile attack from Kthozov and finish him off with his Tuman Bomba. But Tatsuya anticipated this and made countermeasures accordingly. After dealing with Igor, Tatsuya dismantles the submarine's missile launchers and propulsion system that could not be repaired while underwater causing Kthozov to be stranded at sea then focus his attention on dealing with other enemies without waiting for Kthozov to emerge. One hour later, the crew of Kthozov surrenders and are evacuated from the submarine treated as drifters unrelated to the battle by the defenders of Miyaki Island then Tatsuya decomposes and sank Kthozov. [2]
Spaceship Takachiho[]

On April 1, 2100, Tatsuya awakens Kudou Minoru and Sakurai Minami from their Spiritual Hybernation Magic and shows them the submarine Kthozov. It measures about 170 meters long and about a width of 20 meters that is reassembled on the southern part of Miyaki Island now converted to Spaceship "Takachiho". Tatsuya presents them with a choice to either go back to sleep or to launch them with Takachiho as their "safe house" to space but Minoru is skeptical considering the size of Takachiho. Tatsuya explains the method he plans to use and also making it clear that they can return to Earth. Unlike the USNA's blatant expulsion of Raymond Sage Clark to space, Tatsuya has no intention of letting Minoru or even less Minami share the same fate. Minoru and Minami gladly chose to board Takachiho and live in space. [3]
Minoru and Minami then enters an air tight chamber of Takachiho while Tatsuya disassembles the spaceship with Decomposition into parts measuring up to 10 square meters. Tatsuya then starts a ten second countdown as Shiba Miyuki and Angelina Kudou Shields position themselves between the disassembled Takachiho facing each other about 200 meters apart and prepares to use a large scale Mock Teleportation that they have been practicing with Tatsuya. When the countdown reaches zero, the parts of Takachiho disappears one by one while Tatsuya uses Elemental Sight to trace Minoru, Minami and every single part of the spaceship. At 6,400 kilometers away, Tatsuya uses Regrowth to reassemble Takachiho in space and a minute later Tatsuya and Miyuki receives a call from Minoru and Minami respectively, confirming that Takachicho is fully operational and they are okay to the relief of Tatsuya, Miyuki and Lina. Takachiho's power source is the Stellar Reactor developed from Project E.S.C.A.P.E.S to be operated by Minoru's magic power and is equipped with a solar powered generator as an auxiliary energy source. The interior of the ship is designed by Miyuki and built to maintain the same gravity as Earth through an artificial gravity system that uses an artificial Relic. Takachiho is expected to last for about a hundred years with supplies are provided by the magic of a virtual satellite elevator that can be used to move goods to and from the Earth as well as allowing people to travel back and forth. Tatsuya decides to use Material Burst as a "show of power" and goes to the Takachicho to get the positional data of a comet and uses Psion Marker on the comet. On June 22, 2100, Tatsuya uses Material Burst to destroy the comet to show the world that he intends to use Material Burst as means of destruction for destruction's sake to ensure no other threats would destroy the Earth and causes the restriction to travel outside of Japan to be lifted by Akiyama.[4]
As an additional means to prevent Takachiho from being detected by chance, Minoru stored the Magic Sequence of Ghost Walker at the Magistore of the spaceship to be active at all time which causes anyone who spots Takachiho by chance will immediately lose sight of it due to the effects of Ghost Walker. While the electromagnetic wave absorption magic that is also stored in the Magistore which makes no electromagnetic waves, from infrared, visible spectrum, all the way to ultraviolet or shorter wavelenghs than very high frequency radio waves, were reflected off Takachiho, that prevents the detection of radar.[5]
