| Introduction |
Juumonji Alisa, born Iba Alisa is one of the main protagonists of the Cygnus Maidens spin-off series. She is an illegitimate daughter of Juumonji Kazuki.
Appearance and Personality[]
Alisa is half Japanese and half Russian, with an appearance considerably closer to Russian. Alisa has light blond hair, close to light silver, green eyes, slender limbs, and a high waistline. Her good looks and proportions really make her stand out, much to her chagrin.[1]
Alisa has a kind, quiet and timid personality and by her own admission is not suited to combat to the point her dislike of attacking people has affected her magic aptitudes.[2]

Alisa was born from an affair that Juumonji Kazuki had with Alisa's mother Iba Darya, a New Soviet Union defector who fled to Japan. After Kazuki's new bride Keiko was chosen by his father, the couple split but Darya gave birth to Alisa with Kazuki being unaware she was carrying his child.[3]
After Darya's death, Alisa was raised as a daughter by the Tookami family where they planned that Alisa will marry Tookami Ryousuke and take over the veterinary clinic family business in Hokkaido until March, 2097. At this point, Kazuki had stepped down from his position as Juumonji family head and freed from his responsibilities, looked into what happened to Darya and discovered her death, and Alisa's existence, leading him to confess his sin to his son, now the family head, Katsuto. Katsuto decided they needed to take responsibility for Alisa due to the dangers of the Juumonji ability, Over Clocking.
Upon hearing the details of her situation and heritage, Alisa accepts Katsuto's offer and was formally taken in by the Juumonji family and moved to Tokyo where she is now named Juumonji Alisa.
During the two years Alisa spent at the Juumonji household she learned both the magic of the Juumonjii as well as knowledge of magician society so that by the time she enters First High School in 2099, Alisa's common sense is in line with that of the other magicians, rather than that of a non-magician as it was when she lived with the Tookami family in Hokkaido.[4]
Abilities[]
Despite never using Magic before, Alisa has a dense magical presence that that feels like a strong energy condensed into her small body, a trait seen in the Magicians of the "Ten" and is said to have talent that is comparable to Katsuto's. Until Alisa begins his training with the Juumonji Family, Alisa never used magic because of the possibility that using her Magic Calculation Area would eventually lead to her death due to overheating that is common among the Juumonji Family's over usage of Overclocking. In addition, Alisa's mother Iba Darya is a modified human made by the New Soviet who at that time the developed humans are less stable compared to USNA and Japan which resulted to Darya dying young so Alisa being a second generation of the NSU's modified humans also risks the chance of Alisa suffering the same fate.[1]
Phalanx[]
- As a direct descendant of the Magicians of the Ten, Alisa specializes in defensive magic and in the two years of training she has had at the Juumonji household her ability and skill with the defensive version of the Juumonji Phalanx has surpassed that of Juumonji Yuuto, with her overall level of skill allowing Alisa to take third place in First High's entrance exam despite only beginning to learn about magic properly in 2097[5]. However, due to a psychological block caused by her dislike of attacking people Alisa is completely unable to use offensive magic to the point even a defensive magic barrier will cut out if used to ran a human target.[6]
Reverse Accel[]
- Reverse Accel is a Speed Type magic that gives an object acceleration in roughly the opposite direction of its current direction of movement. Alisa is able to use Reverse Accel in combination of her Defensive Magic that makes her a formidable competitor when it comes to Crowd Ball Competition.[7]
Spatial Awareness[]

- Being a member of the Juumonji family, Alisa can also use Spatial Awareness which is a wide range Perception Type Magic that allows its users to detect changes of physical objects and magic within its range. For Alisa, she uses Spatial Awareness in Crowd Ball together with her Barrier Magic that allows her to sense on the balls served by her opponent and react accordingly even though she cannot immediately see them.[7]

- Alisa is good at housework and enjoys cooking, though not to the point of it being a hobby.
- Her mother's full name before defecting to Japan was Darya Andreevna Ivanova, as mentioned in Vol 3, Chapter 2 of Cygnus Maidens. The Andreevna name makes her mother a clone and 'sister' of Igor Andreevich Bezobrazov, making him Alisa's uncle.
