Ghost Walker (鬼門 遁甲), also known as Kimon Tonkou or Kimon Tonkouno-jutsu is a Mental Interference Type Magic of the Outer-Systematic Type. It is an Ancient Magic that manipulates the vectors to disorient their target.
Background[]
Before Ghost Walker is developed, primitive versions have already existed which is a mere individual illusion technique to manipulate spirits. Ghost Walker is a refined version of this technique that can affect "a squadron of troops".[1]
By the time of World War Three, Ghost Walker is used by Ancient Magicians mainly from Dahan and Great Asian Union where the latter even has high ranking members of their military using it for infiltrating enemy countries.[2]

Ghost Walker causing Spark to miss Zhou Gongjin
Ghost Walker is a magic that selected position based on fortune and is unrestricted by physical parameter consciously manipulating the target directions is the basic of Ghost Walker.[2]
Based on the user's wishes, this secretive magic can redirect other people's attention to the desired location and people with their vectors scrambled will never locate their target. Much like someone who intends to walk straight forward but is actually walking in circles, or maybe seeing a carriage plainly in walking distance but is never able to catch up. [3]
This causes spells targeting Ghost Walker user to be misdirected and miss that is similar with the effects of Parade but they can be used together at the same time as their effects can overcome the other's weakness. [4]

With the growing international tension due to World War Three, the Japanese Government established 10 research laboratories where the Ninth Research Institute focus on the development of Perception Magic and gathered Ancient Magic Users to streamline their use for Modern Magic and Ghost Walker is among the Ancient Magic that are researched. The results of the research are also a closely guarded secret and to ensure that they remain in the walls of the Ninth Institute, Kokonoe Yakumo's predecessor of ensuring it remains a secret and later inherited by Kokonoe Yakumo.[5]
Due to Ghost Walker users originating in the Great Asian Union, its existence is known by very few people in Japan especially those who are the line of work for intelligence like the Kuroba Family. [6]

- Ghost Walker can also be seen by Magicians posessing the Crystal Eyes who are said to be able to see the unseeable. Through her Crystal Eyes, Shibata Mizuki assists Miyuki by giving directions and timing on when Chen Xiangshan opened the door where Miyuki is waiting to capture him.[3]
Proximity[]
- Ghost Walker is also ineffective if the user is in close proximity of its target which Kuroba Mitsugu utilizes to corner Zhou Gongjin that he uses Shadow Beast in order to escape.[6]

- Ghost Walker can be tracked by Elemental Sight but its has a requirement that the user already has a medium's psion previously read by Elemental Sight and it is lodged in the body of the user of Ghost Walker. Zhou Gongjin's mastery of Ghost Walker nearly allowed him to escape but because of Nakura Saburou's blood that he uses as a medium for his Water Needle from their previous battle, Tatsuya is able to know Zhou Gongjin's location with out actually seeing him and prevent his escape. Shiba Tatsuya and Ichijou Masaki has been on pursuit of Zhou Gongjin who was on the run ever since the Steeplechase Event.[4]
