Cygnus Maidens Volume 3 (新・魔法科高校の劣等生 キグナスの乙女たち 3) is the third light novel of the second spin-off series for the Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei series. This spin-off continues to follow the story of Juumonji Alisa, the illegitimate daughter of the Juumonji family as she continues her high school life at First High.
Synopsis[]

With the Nine Schools Completion on the horizon, First High is engulfed in an enthusiastic fever. Alisa has been selected as a candidate for Crowd Ball. Though she personally has a dislike of competing with others, she is facing it head on as an opportunity to grow and overcome her weaknesses.
The Magic Martial Arts Club is also enthusiastic about their training for the upcoming regular interschool match with Third High. Especially Marika, who is burning with fighting spirit for this interschool match. Because there is an opponent she absolutely wants to bring down. Ichijou Akane. The eldest daughter of the Ichijou Family, who stand amongst the Ten Master Clans, and an elite called the Supernova within the field of magic martial arts.
