Isori Kei[]
Isori is Kanon's Fiancé and naturally, they care deeply for each another. They have been engaged since their introduction to the light novel.[1] The two have a good relationship and it's been made clear throughout the story. Isori is the level-headed person in the relationship, while Kanon appears rather chaotic, reckless and childish at times.[1] Nonetheless, Kanon is very protective when it comes to Isori. A good example is when Isori took part in the Nine Schools Thesis Competition and needed bodyguards to protect him from possible dangers. Kanon insisted that she be part of this and came over as rather overbearing, after which Mari told her that she needed a good teamwork with another bodyguard to fulfill her duties.[2]
Likewise, Isori cares so much about Kanon that he was literally willing to protect her with his own life. During the Yokohama Disturbance arc, the couple and their group were ambushed by an enemy guerrilla team. On reflex, Isori pushed Kanon down and used his own body to cover hers, during which he was critically injured by a grenade shrapnel and would very likely have succumbed to his injuries if Tatsuya hadn't used Regrowth on him.[3]
Watanabe Mari[]
Kanon and Mari have a friendly relationship, which probably stems from the fact that both of them belong to the "Hundred Families". Mari seems to be someone who can lend her an ear for things outside of school matters, as Kanon freely talks about her dissatisfaction of being separated from Kei during the trip to the Nine Schools Competition's destination.[1]
Mari selected Kanon as her successor as head of the Public Morals Committee, before relieving herself from the role.[4]
Shiba Tatsuya[]
During the Nine Schools Competition, Kanon showed little interest in Tatsuya outside of his skills as a CAD engineer. This changes during the Yokohama Disturbance arc after she became aware that Tatsuya is part of the military with the rank of Special Officer. When Kei had received a fatal injury protecting her, Tatsuya, as Ooguro Ryuuya, had used "Regrowth" to save him, but Kanon was confused about Tatsuya's abilities until Miyuki explained "Regrowth".
She thought such an amazing magic should not be a secret until she knew the price to pay when Tatsuya uses it. So she vowed, as all who heard it, secrecy.[3]
Since then, Kanon had acknowledged Tatsuya's abilities and was grateful for his help in saving Kei. She had held Tatsuya as part of the Public Moral Committee after she succeeded Mari, until the start of the new school year, when he was officially transferred to the Student Council, as part of a compromise with Azusa.
When Lina asked her about Tatsuya, she said that he stands among the top tier among Magicians in First High.[5]
