Leo wasn't a "Linchpin". You are pretty much describing him as one. You are basically saying that, '''IF '''he, Leo, wasn't attacked Tatsuya wouldn't have gotten involved!? That in itself is a "what if" scenario. The Saegusa-Juumongi alliance would of still been active regardless of Leo's status, causing Kodou to still have been interested which ultimately would have peaked the interests of the Yotsuba which they were keeping watch. So even '''IF '''Leo had not gotten attacked, you can't say for certain Tatsuya wouldn't have gotten involved at some point either.

(Edit By that logic if Toshi hadn't gotten Leo involved, Leo might have been possessed or killed on his walk home. We don't know. Or heck maybe got blindsided by a car if he hadn't gone into that bar. Either way, we're both doing "what if" scenarios. lol )

My "what-if" was basically saying, since he was really the only one shown to actually come up with a way to disable the parasites, until he got involved (whenever that may have been) more magician lives, through possession, would of been the cost and at some point it may have been someone close to home.

Leo wasn't a "Linchpin". You are pretty much describing him as one. You are basically saying that, IF he, Leo, wasn't attacked Tatsuya wouldn't have gotten involved!? That in itself is a "what if" scenario. A fact: the Saegusa-Juumongi alliance would of still been active regardless of Leo's status, causing Kodou to still have been interested which ultimately would have peaked the interests of the Yotsuba which they were keeping watch. So even IF Leo had not gotten attacked, you can't say for certain Tatsuya wouldn't have gotten involved at some point either.

(Edit: By that logic if Toshi hadn't gotten Leo involved, Leo might have been possessed or killed on his walk home or maybe even Toshi had he not taken a break to talk to Leo. We don't know. Or heck maybe got blindsided by a car if he hadn't gone into that bar. Either way, we're both doing "what if" scenarios. lol )

Nice catch! Yea, nice catch with the Leo-Rosen connection. I wonder what that was all about? I had initially thought they had mistaken him for Erika's fiance(?) in my head. But maybe it is something more sinister at work. Totally forgot about that.
